How it comes together
Grant or revoke credit from a customer profile, recording a reason for the adjustment.
Enable store credit at checkout and set percentage or amount caps per order. When both apply, the lower limit wins.
Review grants, usage, refunds, reversals, and adjustments in the customer’s searchable credit ledger.
The details that make a difference
Store credit belongs to a customer account and follows the store’s currency. It is distinct from a gift card redeemed with a code.
Grant and revoke actions record an explanation, helping your team understand why a balance changed.
Use a percentage cap, a fixed amount cap, or both. The available balance and order total also bound how much can be used.
Use store credit as an available refund destination where the order supports it, then follow the resulting balance movement.
Search notes and references, filter by activity or date, and sort the customer’s credit history.
