Understand the order

Orders
Search, create, and manage orders with the detail your team actually works with. From line-item data and separate payment states to fulfillment, refunds, and history—on web and mobile.
Order status follows your workflow. Financial, payment, and fulfillment states tell their own parts of the story.
How it comes together
See line items, variants, pricing, discounts, tax, shipping, and the customer behind the purchase.
Track payment and fulfillment separately. Work with fulfillments, tracking, and packing slips as an order progresses.
Manage eligible cancellations and refunds, review transactions, and keep the timeline, notes, and tags together.
The details that make a difference
The order is the starting point for real operations. Store Admin and the mobile app bring the list, creation workflow, and detailed order record together, with actions governed by access and the order’s state.
Use Active, Archived, and Tags in Store Admin. Search by order, customer, phone, or external ID; filter by status, payment, fulfillment, channel, totals, date, customer, and product.
Select a customer, browse products or add custom items, adjust quantities, review currency and addresses, and preview discounts, charges, and payment choices before creating the order.
Keep the order’s workflow status distinct from its financial, payment, and fulfillment states. A captured payment and a completed shipment answer different questions.
Work with fulfillment plans, locations, item quantities, shipment tracking, and packing slips. Follow the shipment journey alongside the order.
Review refundable amounts and available destinations, including original payment, store credit, gift cards, or manual methods where supported. Keep provider and settlement status visible.
See variants, SKUs, quantities, prices, taxes, duties, weight, line properties, uploaded artwork proofs, and item metafields when present.
Keep customer and address details, transactions, timeline, internal or customer-visible notes, tags, order metafields, and captured attribution in the order workspace.
Select orders to update status, archive, or print packing slips. Use order imports, exports, and background-job history for larger workflows in the actual admin and app.
