Live View
See your store as it happens.
Live View shows who's on your store right now, how today is going and what shoppers did in the last few minutes. Views, carts, checkouts and orders reach the activity feed and the map as they happen.
Right now, and today so far
Live View sits under Analytics in Store Admin. Its numbers move on their own as shoppers browse and buy, so there's nothing to refresh.

- Today so far
- Today's sales, orders and average order in your store's currency, with today's visitors, page views and conversion.
- The last five minutes
- Customer behavior counts active carts, started checkouts, shoppers checking out and purchases over the last five minutes, so it shows what's happening now.
- Two checkout numbers
- Started checkout and checking out are counted separately, so you can see checkouts begin and shoppers still at checkout.
- Your number format
- Large numbers follow the compact number format you choose in Settings > General.
- Other dates
- Live View covers right now and today. For other dates, sessions and sources, open Analytics reports.
Every visit, on the map
The activity feed lists what shoppers did in the last ten minutes, newest first. Each place with active shoppers is a point on the map: select it to see its visitors, carts and checkouts.
- What the feed shows
- Product and page views, searches, carts, wishlists, checkouts, orders, customer logins and sign-ups, refunds and cancellations.
- Ten minutes, newest first
- Events leave the feed after ten minutes, and it holds up to 100 at a time.
- Orders and searches
- Orders show their amount. Searches show what was typed, and say so when nothing was found.
- Approximate places
- A location is a city and country, and activity only gets one where the shopper's consent allows.
- Map or globe
- The map follows your busiest place. Switch to a globe or go full screen. Your choice is remembered on that browser.
Live, for the people you choose
Your storefront records activity as shoppers browse, as far as their consent allows. Store Admin keeps one live connection open, so the numbers, the feed and the map move together.
- Who can see it
- Staff need Live View access to open it. You choose who has it in their permissions.
- Connection status
- The indicator shows Live, Connecting or Disconnected. When disconnected, Live View keeps retrying.
- When it drops
- While Live View is disconnected, the numbers on screen may be out of date until it reconnects.
- No date picker
- Live View is always now. Analytics reports cover any period you choose, with sessions, sources and ordered journeys.
