Inventory
Know what you can sell, at every location.
Tringify tracks what's on hand, what's held for checkouts, orders and transfers, and what's left to sell. Move stock between locations and see every change in the history.
On hand, held and available
Available is always on hand minus held, per location, so you don't sell stock that's already promised. Held covers stock in open checkouts, committed to orders and in transfer.
- On hand
- The physical units at a location.
- Held
- Stock in open checkouts, committed to orders, and in transfers.
- Available
- On hand minus held. It never goes below zero, and shoppers can only buy what's available.
- Checkout holds
- A checkout holds stock for the time you set, from 5 to 120 minutes, plus a 10-minute grace period. A placed order commits it.
- Every change, with a reason
- Stock history records each change with its reason: received, returned, damaged, shrinkage, recount or correction, plus sales and transfers.
- No overwritten counts
- Setting stock only applies if on hand hasn't changed since you loaded it.
Move stock to where it sells
Transfer stock between locations. A pending transfer holds nothing, an in-transit one holds the source stock, and each receipt records short and damaged units.
- Pending to completed
- Transfers go from Pending to In transit to Completed, showing Partially received until every unit is accounted for. A transfer can also be cancelled.
- Receive in parts
- Each receipt records received, short and damaged units.
- Locations
- Keep stock at each warehouse, shop or app-managed location. Choose which locations ship online orders, and in what order.
- Locations by plan
- How many locations you can have depends on your plan. App-managed locations don't count toward the limit.
Alerts before you run out, and after you restock
Get low-stock alerts per item or per location. Let shoppers ask to hear when an item is back, by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Low-stock thresholds
- Set an overall threshold for an item, or one for each location. A threshold alerts you; it doesn't stop sales.
- Alerts without the noise
- Low-stock alerts arrive by email and webhook, and repeat only after a cooldown.
- Back in stock
- Restock requests by email, SMS or WhatsApp, sent automatically when stock returns or by hand.
- From request to order
- Follow each request from pending to queued, notified and converted.
Groups, scanning and bulk updates
Let several products sell from one pool, count stock with your phone's camera, and update thousands of rows from a file.
- Inventory groups
- Let several products or variants sell from one shared pool, such as one blank T-shirt printed with different designs.
- Per product
- Choose per product: track inventory, don't track it, or use an inventory group. Tracked items stop selling when nothing is available.
- Scan with your phone
- Scan barcodes with your phone's rear camera in Store Admin, or with a USB or keyboard scanner, one at a time or in batches of up to 1,000 rows.
- CSV with a preview
- Import and export stock by SKU, location, quantity and reason, with a preview before anything changes.
- Bulk jobs you can follow
- Bulk jobs show processed, succeeded, skipped and failed rows.
